Sponsor Tuition Fees for one year of rural deprived child education
The no. of children in a rural underprivileged family are many. Their parents can not afford expenses of education and so do not send them to school instead they are sent to work in fields as child laborers. Children are deprived of education they do not get place in society thus do not contribute in development of the nation and ultimately become liability on nation. Kumari Pooja Aged 11 years D/o Sh. Raju Singh, Village Barauli, Block Beldev, Distt. Mathura, U.P. is a poor underprivileged girl from a family living under BPL and was not in position to afford educational expenses. She was shortlisted in a survey as she was sitting at home and was working as a child labour along with the parents. She was persuaded to join a school and the school management assured the parents for free education at B.D. P. School.
We do not charge tuition fee and give them education at par with other children. The family is less burdened with educational expenses and all children in the family get educated. We provide school bags and sweater to all students free of cost. Pooja is now in Grade 7. She is bright and good at studies. We are sure that she will come out as a responsible student.
Pooja was also taught Tailoring and Stitching. This will help the family since she can earn money for the family after school hours. She is meeting her personal expenses by earning while studying. Parents started sending their children for education instead of sending them to the field for earning. Now they are getting certified education which makes them eligible for higher education & further in getting jobs in govt. & private sectors instead of living as a labor throughout their lives, thus they get a place in society & finally become an asset to the nation.
