Sweety gets a new life
Sweety was born in 2001 and orphaned in Kopargaon when her mother expired. Her other parent is unknown. A good Samaritan handed her over to Snehalaya at the tender age of six, saving her from the horrors that could have befallen a defenseless child in the dangerous environment where she was born.
Sweety was well looked after in the Sneha Balgruha and provided free-of-cost food, clothing, shelter, medications, toiletries education, extra-curricular activities facilities including sports, picnics, educational trips to ensure that she grows up as normal human beings without any social stigma. On realizing her aptitude for sports, she was encouraged to participate in various competitive sports including martial arts tournaments. Sweety loves to take part in dramas, enjoys experimenting with different roles, and likes singing and dancing.
She currently studies in the 7th standard. Her favorite subjects are English and History. Her thoughts are distinctly different. She likes to get off the beaten path and blaze her own trail in uncharted waters. She desires to do something radically different from other grown-up girls, and thereby honor her Snehalaya family with her hard-earned fame. She will surely succeed in achieving her ambitions and will flourish and mature into a responsible citizen - in spite of having been an orphaned with a dark past.
