Help educate a student by providing uniforms and school supplies for a year, INR 1450

Vizhuthukal Trust works in two blocks of Tirunelveli Corporation in Tirunelveli district. In this area, it was noticed that the school-going children could not afford even basic school supplies. Their parents are unable fulfill even their basic needs due to poverty.

How It Works

• With no uniforms, students are not willing to attend school.
• With no study materials and stationary, they are not able to learn certain subjects.

• Vizhuthukal Trust’s self-help group looks out for such children through indicators like monthly income of the parents, number of children in the family, educational status of the family, type of house they live etc.
• The Trust has identified hundreds of children who need this help.
