Gift a grandma hope in her last days - Single Donation, INR 100

Asha Kiran runs an initiative to help elderly destitute women, below the poverty line, living alone in remote rural villages, which have been stricken by natural disasters like floods and cyclones. This initiative focuses not just on providing the women basic necessities but also on rebuilding their morale and zest for life.
How It Works

• The Asha Kiran field staff interacts with the village committee and the local panchayat and identify and shortlist elderly women.
• They then assess the needs of the short-listed women.
• Most of them don't have the money to buy the monthly rations. Rice, some daily provisions and clothes are provided.
• If required, further assistance is provided to the same person after one- year duration.
• Funds are raised either by camps or personal visits to individuals and institutions with philanthropic interests.
