Overview
Samaratham Trust runs a project to train disabled and visually challenged children across Karnataka. More than welfare activities, Samarthanam believes in empowering them with relevant education and soft skills, and today this belief and vision has changed the lives of thousands of disabled across India.
How It Works
• Courses offered include basic computer training, English grammar, communication skills and other soft skills needed in a corporate environment, which can help them get placed with government/non-government organizations.
• The computer course is certified by KEONICS (a government run training centre) and the English language programme is being structured and run with great success by Winners Academy.
• Personality development sessions are conducted by volunteers with corporate experience, imparting pre-employment training and office etiquette skills to the participants.
• Trainings are conducted in Bangalore, Dharwad and Gadag.
