Clean and Healthy Henry
Henry Roshan presently studying in grade 7 lives in a slum in Bangalore. He comes from a family of very poor economic background. His parents earn a meager income which is not sufficient to meet their ends. He belongs to family of 7 with four siblings. He did not have adequate and clean cloths to wear. The first day when he came to the school he seemed undernourished and badly attired
The cost of living and the large size of families make it imperative for us to provide the students with at least two sets of uniforms, text books nutritious food, books etc. After we provided this his total outlook changed
Despite coming from a unhygienic environment Henry developed habits of cleanliness and he comes very neatly dressed to the school. There has been a drastic change in the way the child looks and he has a very positive attitude. Education along with clothing and food has made a remarkable change in the life of Henry. It has given an opportunity for the students to improve their self esteem, a sense of pride, confidence and has motivated them to come to school
