This is the story of Chandramma a resident of Hadonahalli. She was just 35 years old when she came to us. Both her legs were swollen and she could barely walk. Her skin too and both the legs had become dry and scaly. She did not know why this was happening
A thorough check up was done by her attending doctors. They decided to get a random blood sugar done. Today surprise, they found that the blood sample reading was 463. The doctors immediately started treating her for diabetes. Requisite medicines were given to her and she was asked to come regularly for her check-up. This is a eye opener both for the doctors and our members that walked people who were unaware of disease like diabetes and the hazards that it can create if untreated. Awareness camps are now regularly being conducted by us to make people aware of their symptoms of different diseases and the measure they should take to prevent such illness.
Chandramma has been coming regularly for her treatment. Today she is fit and fine. She is happy that she came to us and took treatment.
