Nurturing the merit : Story of Vaishali
Vaishali hailed from a poor family and the family used to make a living by making bead necklaces. She and her family used to wake up at 4 am, make necklaces and then she and her siblings used to walk to a nearby municipal school in old clothes. Vaishali then started working in Dubai, got married and moved to the USA. However, Vaishali, today, sponsors children liker her through CASP. She and her brother have been sponsored by CASP since 1989-1990 and they received stationery, uniforms and help with fees. The municipal school had classes only till Std 8 and they had to get into a private school which was difficult without donations. CASP helped them to secure an admission without any donation. Vaishali passed SSC with 82% secured a job and later went on to do a job where she managed to do a diploma with her job.
