Sustainable system development of the society where people respective of caste, creed and religion will enjoy all sorts of opportunities and advantages equally with special emphasis on empowerment of the women and children, and echo harmony.
In the organisation observed that destitute children and the wretched mothers of the society were deprived of basic minimum needs of life. Late Br. Tara Rani Chakraborty the former Secretary was moved to pitiful and miserable condition of children women and working masses. So our organisation felt need to serve the children mothers of grassroots families with a view to uplifting their status, who were residing in the Gram Panchayet of Hotar Marjada, Magrahat II, south 24 Parganas, West Bengal.
Sadhvi Suchetanandamoyee (Br. Sandhya Das), the General Secretary is playing important role of management and was involved in the beginning of the Women Organisation as a full time staff. After wards she joined in Executive Committee and is now leading SARADA RAMAKRISHNA (SHISHU & MAHILA) SEVASHRAM (Registered in 1973 under Societies Act of W.B. and Registered under F.C.R.A in the year 1985). The Organisation was established in the year of 1968 and since than it has been performing socio economic cultural, education and health programme by focusing women, children and aged person as target group. The operational area is Magrahat - I and II, Baruipur block mainly of south 24 parganas, which is remarkably back ward in every aspect. Our staffs are well experienced and skilled in rural development activities by attending training in calcutta based Institution and other states (Bengalore and Odisha). The General Secretary is skilled in accounting, project management & handicraft also. The unity, solidarity and co-existence of all people and religions, is our message to people. We maintain good governance with accountability to stake holders.

 Kunta Bala- Aged But Independent!
Kunta Bala Chakraborty lost her husband about 27 years ago. Having no children of her own, she had nothing to live on. She lost all hope and saw no reason in living. At this stage, she was rescued by Sevashram. She was provided with shelter and food. She was motivated to live life in a more meaningful way. Today, Kunta Bala has become an energetic mother of the Sevashram. she is helping various activities of Sevashram Girls Home. Kuntabala is leading a life of joyful involment of children.
 Promising life of a poor girl
Mousumi Mondal is 8 years and studying in Grade IV in Sarada Siksha Mandir at Marjada Village. As a agricultural labour, her father named Sanat Mondal of village - South Marjada, P.o- Hotar, Dist- South 24 Parganas, was facing financial hardship to maintain his families of 5 members including education of his children. Under this condition, her daughter was told to discontinue education and also was deprived of proper meals every day. In order to get rid of her pathetic condition, her father approached to Sevashram for Maintenance of her daughter. In the year 2011, Mousumi Mondal was enrolled as a beneficiary for taking facilities of education. She has been supported by GiveIndia donors. Now she is happy to be continuing her education. Her attendance in a school is 97%. Her education standard is very good. Out of interest, she is learning dancing and physical exercises. Her behavior is also excellent and overall performance is good.
