Mission/Vision
Active assistance for quality education in primary and high school levels to children from poor families; meritorious students are assisted to proceed with higher education. Helping deserving students in the Bangalore area including nearby rural areas in procuring educational loans and in assisting handicapped children in education without discrimination of religion, caste, creed, or community. Helping Humanitarian Home by providing food and infra support for the destitute.
 
Background
The organisation was started in 2001 by a retired defence staff and company executives, who inspired and gathered a number of like-minded dedicated persons; it reached regular operational status by 2002, through word of mouth association and accretion of participants – retired persons civil/defence services from public and private sectors. The crying need of many many poor children was the motivating factor for these reasonably affluent retirees.
 
The present Chairman, Head of the organisation, is Mr Bhupinder Singh Lamba, well known for his philanthropic attitude. He is retired from Bata India LTD as Marketing Director. He is with Senior Citizens for more than ten years implementing welfare projects for the benefit of School children.
