We want each child to be confident of herself/himself and to be able to stand as an equal in the society, with equal number of opportunities in life.
 
Background
In 2002, soon after the devastating killer earthquake in Gujarat, that displaced people from their homes and livelihoods and de-linked children from education, the alumni of IIM-A and a dynamic eduprenuer, Mrs. Manjula Devi Shroff, Chairperson, Kalorex Education Research Foundation, founded this organization and gave shape to her dreams of working with the under-privileged. Visamo is where children from the poor families from below-poverty-line strata are not only given a secured shelter, but their dreams and aspirations are nurtured so that they could go back to their families & community and help the others come up in life.
 
Visamo is headed by Manjula Devi Shroff, Managing Trustee, Visamo and MD & CEO, KALOREX, Altus Learning Pvt Limited. KALOREX is a two decade organisation present in k-21 education - Preschool to University. Its footprint is across the Western States of India- Gujarat, Rajasthan & Madhya Pradesh. It operates and runs over 40 educational institutions. Altus Learning is a Management & Services company in the K-12 education sector.
