Every individual has a life of dignity. Socio-economic empowerment of tribal people, dalits, women and other deprived sections of the society.
Organisation was started for socio-economic empowerment of tribal people and other deprived sections in Thane district. It was established in 1979 in the background of Emergency when the supremacy of parliament was deteriorated. So Vidhayak Sansad was started for empowerment of people through peoples participation.
Vidyullata Pandit is the head of the Organization. She is the founder of the organisation and working in social field for last 35 years. She worked actively in the field of Livelihood, education and human rights, women empowerment, rural development etc. She has completed her graduation in Bachelor of Science.

 Pooja- A role model
Pooja is a girl from the Katakri tribe. She lost her parents when she was in Grade 2. She had to leave the school and was living with her old grandmother. She was the first generation learner from her family Our volunteer working in the same village came to know about her. He brought her to our residential school. She started staying in the hostel since 2002 and once again started her education. We took care of her residential as well as educational expenses Pooja is now studying in Grade 10. She is good in drama, music and sports. She is now a role model of our school. She wants to be a leader in future who can bring change in lives of tribal and deprived people. Vidhayak sansad has taken her entire responsibility, she wants to take higher education and our organization is always their with her.
