Background
FFE IT was started by FFE Inc., a 501 (c) (3) organization based in CA, USA. The goal of both organizations is to ensure that no meritorious student in India is deprived of the opportunity to realize the dream of higher education for want of finances
 
Dr. Prabhu Goel and his wife Poonam founded FFE in 1994. Dr. Goel is a distinguished Technologist, Philanthropist and Entrepreneur. He is an active private venture investor and has served on the boards of many companies. He currently serves on the boards of InsideVault and FusionOps. Dr. Goel graduated from IIT Kanpur and was the recipient of the President's Gold Medal for academic excellence. He received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
